Abstract

Vibroacoustic influence on workers is one of harmful factors of working environment, which is the cause not only of occupational diseases but also of injuries in the workplace. The highest intensity of infrasound and sound waves is created by machines and mechanisms which have surfaces of large dimensions. These machines and mechanisms include vehicles, the emission infrasound level of which exceeds normative values on 10 to 20 dbln in operating mode and on 10 - 15 dBA in the audio range. In the study, the authors proposed the algorithm for calculating the natural frequencies of a plating frame fencing cabins and its harmonics taking into account the added mass (a layer of finely porous material). The obtained results allow us to determine the actual natural frequencies of the sheathing frame and to adopt its stiffness in the design to avoid resonance phenomena and reduce the levels of vibroacoustic loads.
