Researching the grain compound composition of grain crops zoned on the territory of Zhytomyr region

Abstract

In the article presents the researching results of the grain compound common grain crops zoned in the partially-wooded steppe of Zhytomyr region, namely, such as – winter wheat and barley, soybean, sunflower, maize. The grain compound determined in accordance with ДСТУ 4138-2002. Research were conducted after threshing by common combine harvesters nowaday in Ukraine following brands: «Палессе КЗС-1218», «РСМ-142», «Case International-1666» and «Claas Lexion-480». In the result of the conducted researching there were founded 10 kinds of weeds, grain and plant impurities, mineral impurities (soil) in the grain compound. It was established that the impurity percent of winter wheat in depending of the combine harvester brand is 0,23% ... 5,84%. Minimal percent of impurity showed combine harvester "Claas Lexion-480" – 0,23%, maximal – combine harvester «РСМ-142» – 5,84%. The impurity percent of winter barley is 0,48% ... 1,83%. The minimal percent of impurity showed combine harvester "Claas Lexion-480" – 0,48%, maximal – combine harvester «КЗС-1218 Палессе GS-12» – 1,83%. The impurity percent of soybean is 1,05% ... 1,56%. The minimal percent of impurity showed combine harvester «КЗС-1218 Палессе GS-12» – 1,05%, maximal – combine harvester «Case International - 1666» – 1,56%. The impurity percent of sunflower is 1,59% ... 3,97%. The minimal percent of impurity showed combine harvester «Claas Lexion - 480» – 1,59%, maximal – combine harvester «РСМ-142» – 3,97%. The impurity percent of maize is 0,57% ... 1,47%. The minimal percent of impurity showed combine harvester «Claas Lexion - 480» – 0,57%, maximal – combine harvester «РСМ-142» – 1,47%. Getting data of the grain compound components together with their aerodynamic parameters will be used in the development of air separator with two-step cleaning system of the the grain compound.
