Application of international standards in the transport field

Abstract

The analysis of the existing state standards of Ukraine in the transport field, as well as foreign experience of international standards in the transport sector and logistics, is carried out in the article. Based on the research, the author proposes the introduction of ISO series standards in the transport field of Ukraine.
It is substantiated that the problem of risks is one of the main ones in logistics activity. The emergence of risk situations inevitably leads to problems of logistics risk management. Solving these problems requires significant changes in the maintenance of logistics systems. To minimize risks in the transport field, the author proved the necessity to create a risk management system.
As an example, a block diagram of a risk management system based on the ISO 3100: 2018 standard is developed and proposed for use.
It is shown that enterprises lose a large amount of profit due to the lack of supply management processes and internal logistics.
In addition, these losses have a significant impact on consumer perception of product quality. Ensuring product quality on all indicators of interest of the consumer is primarily the quality of the enterprise management system.
As an example, a block diagram of a quality management system based on ISO 9001: 2015 is developed and proposed for use.
The implementation of these standards will lead to economic growth and increase the competitiveness of the logistics business, improve the quality of provided services.
This will lead to expansion of the access to regional and global markets, increase export potential, respectively, increase the volume of transportation, expand outlets for domestic products.
International standards provide developed countries with a basis for making the right decisions when investing their not very large resources and thus avoid unjustified fragmentation.
