Abstract

The article gives justification of one of the ways to reduce the impact of running systems of mobile agricultural units based on truck chassis on technological operations in the field conditions and on transport operations when driving on roads. The article analyzes the main ways that can ensure the efficient use of truck chassis in the field and on roads. It is found that the most effective way is to equip truck chassis with wide cross-section tires with adjustable internal air pressure and control system of tire inflation, which enable to use effectively the chassis during the basic technological operations (in the field) as well as during transport operations (on the road). The article determines the influence of air pressure in the tire of running system of truck chassis KrAZ-6322 at the area of tire contact with the supporting surface and its pressure.
