Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; Arial uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

The journal publishes the results of original researches in Engineering and Technology relating to farm production and processing of agricultural products, landscaping, using and recovery of the environment. A special emphasis is made on safety, environmental and ergonomic properties of machines and techniques that are proposed.

The following works are accepted:

  • completed original researches that have not been published yet (5 -10 pages);
  • theoretical and problem-review articles up to 20 pages;
  • materials and reports on events from the scientific life;
  • book reviews.
  • The articles are published in Ukrainian, Russian and English.

In accordance with the decision of the VAK of Ukraine from 15.01.2003 № 7-05 / 1 only those scientific articles containing the following necessary elements are accepted for publication:

  • statement of the problem and its relevance;
  • analysis of the results of recent researches and publications relating to the problem;
  • emphasizing of unsolved aspects of the problem, the work is devoted to;
  • statement of purpose of the work (statement of the research problem);
  • presentation of the principal material with the substantiation of scientific results;
  • the conclusions resulting from the research and prospects for future work.

The text of the article is to be arranged as follows:

UDC, the name of the work, the list of authors, their places of work and e-mail addresses, an abstract in the language of the article, the main text and conclusion, references to the sources.

All tables and figures must have a number and title.

Graphic materials should be prepared accurately. Their sloppy appearance can cause a refusal to publish the article. They must be duplicated in separate files of arbitrary graphical format (*.jpg, *.psd, *.cdr etc.). The resolution for raster pictures should be at least 300DPI. Do not use color images.

The list of used sources is formed in the order of the appearance of references in the text in Ukrainian or Russian according to DSTU GOST 7.1: 2006, in English in accordance with international standards (see the website of the journal).

References – list of used sources in Latin letters in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated January 27, 2010 №55 "On the ordering of transliteration of the Ukrainian alphabet by the Latin". On the website you can do References (Harvard standard) or using the program Mendeley.

At the website  you can use the Ukrainian transliteration service in Latin for free. On the site  there is a service for transliteration of Russian-language text  (standard BGN). 

The text of the article should be in the editor of Microsoft Word 2010 and above using a font size of 10 pt and a single interval. Fields: top and bottom – 3; left and right – 2 cm. Indent – 0.65 cm.

All symbols contained in mathematical expressions, regardless of the possibility of typing them in plain text, must be executed using the Microsoft Equation Formula Editor. The length of the formulas should not exceed 7 cm.

Three identical annotations should be added to the text of the article in Ukrainian, Russian and English. Annotation volume 200 - 250 words. The annotation includes: the title of the article, the list of authors and, in fact, the annotation text, which reflects all aspects of the article and does not contain ballast words.

Under each annotation a list of keywords is printed (7 -10 words, no more than 2 lines).

The article should be accompanied by an author's certificate (for each author) in three languages – Ukrainian, Russian, English.

The author's certificate contains: the title of the article; surname, full name and patronymic; year of birth; scientific degree, academic rank; place of work (in English – full officially-accepted name of the institution); position; ORCID; address for sending author exemplar. In addition, you should specify which of the authors should be in correspondence.

In case of publication of the article the author gives consent to fulltext open access to it in internet network.

The editorial staff reserves the right to correct and reduce the manuscript, as well as to return to the authors of works that do not meet the editorial requirements set forth above.
